BANGALORE: Karnataka Marwari Samaj in association with Bangalore Medical College & Research centre and Bhagwan Mahaveer Vikalang Sahayata Samiti is organising a free ‘Measurement camp for footless’.In this camp they will provide Jaipur foot, calipers (for polio effected patients) and crutches for handicapped.The measurement camp will be conducted on July 23 and 24 at Victoria Hospital, room no 37, Fort Road, Kalasipalayam. The last date for free registration is July 20. Measurement camp will be from 9 am to 5 pm.“Physically impaired people will be fitted with special Jaipur Foot, developed by its unique and well-designed approach to the needs of its community,” says Bimal Kumar Saraogi, Program Director- Karnataka Marwari Samaj. The Jaipur Limb is so efficient that after this limb is fitted, a person can walk like a normal person without a stick or support, and even run, ride a bicycle and climb a tree.
