The headmaster was abducted by Maoists four days ago.
Kolkata: Maoists have released Ranjit Duley, a school headmaster and former CPM member in the Bankura district in West Bengal. The headmaster was abducted four days ago.
His captors, the Sidhu-Kanu People's Militia, tried to strike a deal with the state govt, demanding the release of six Naxal prisoners in exchange for Duley's release. But the government rejected the swap.
