Maharashtra government to bring out new law on dance bars

Mumbai: The Maharashtra government has decided to bring out new law on dance bars in the state.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fandavis on Friday said that the new law on dance bars will be a tribute to late NCP leader RR Patil.

"We'll bring a regulatory law on dance bars. We are in a legal battle," he said.

Fadnavis and Patil had earlier talked about bringing in a tougher legislation on dance bars.
