Mumbai: Madhur Bhandarkar, known for making a film on the fashion industry, himself walked the ramp at the recently concluded India International Jewellery Week (IIJW) and liked the experience.
"Walked the ramp for PC jewellers last evening (Saturday) at the IIJW. Quite an experience to be on the other side of the ramp," Bhandarkar, who made 'Fashion', tweeted Sunday.
IIJW, a two-day event, concluded Saturday and saw many of the B-town celebrities such as Zeenat Aman, Shriya Saran, Yami Gautam, Lara Dutta and Chitrangada Singh walk the ramp for some of the leading jewellery brands in the country.
Bhandarkar, 44, is also known for his realistic films 'Page 3', 'Corporate' and 'Heroine'.
Ayushmann happy with 'Nautanki Saala' response
The verdict on Ayushmann Khurrana's second film 'Nautanki Saala!' is out and the actor is happy with the feedback.
"Lots of praises and some criticism. Loved your feedback. Let this be your 'nautanki' Sunday. 'Nautanki Saala!'," Ayushmann tweeted Sunday.
A comedy of errors, Rohan Sippy-directed 'Nautanki Saala!' has some nice performances by Kunal Roy Kapoor, Pooja Salvi and Evelyn Sharma.
Co-produced by Bhushan Kumar and Ramesh Sippy, 'Nautanki Saala' released Friday.
Sridevi wishes 'Puthandu' and 'Pohela Boishakh'
Actress Sridevi wished all her fans a happy and prosperous 'Puthandu' and 'Pohela Boishakh'.
"Wishing each one a very happy Tamil New Year - Puthandu. Many memories of celebrating this day since childhood," Sridevi tweeted Sunday.
The 49-year-old also went ahead and wished Bengali fans "Pohela Boishakh" and tweeted: "Also wishing all my dear Bengali well-wishers Pohela Boishakh on this auspicious day. Shubho Nabo Barsho!"
Pohela Boishakh is the first day of the Bengali calendar. The traditional greeting for Bengali New Year is 'Shubho nobo borsho'.
