Lokayukta police caught two government power supply employees red-handed in Mhow village near here while taking a bribe of Rs 2000 from a person for shifting an electricity line.
Identified as Leeladhar Yadav and Tapesh Kumar Sharma, the line assistants demanded a bribe of Rs 2000 from Purshottam Thakur for shifting high voltage electricity lines passing from near his residence.
Later, Thakur tipped off Lokayukta police about their demand after which a trap was laid and they were caught red-handed. A case under Prevention of Corruption Act has been registered against them and a probe is on.
