Acting on a tip-off, Excise Superintendent, Deenbandhu raided the vehicle in an area under Pipra police station areas and recovered illicit liqour.
Two persons, trailing the vehicle in a motorcycle, sped away after seeing the police, Excise sources said. Driver of the vehicle, Sandeep kumar was arrested by
the police.
On interrogation he said the consignment was loaded from Motipur in Muzaffarpur but he did not know the destination as people following the vehicle were guiding its movement.
