Kingfisher pilot may be grounded, says DGCA
The pilot in question had reportedly allowed a woman to enter the cockpit, in direct violation of DGCA rules.

New Delhi: The Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) on Thursday sought a report from the Kingfisher Airlines after reports that one of its pilots allowed a woman passenger in the cockpit in direct violation of its rules.

The DGCA said that if the reports were found to be true, the pilot could be grounded.

The crew members of the Kingfisher Delhi-Mumbai flight filed a complaint with the police saying that the pilot in question asked them and his co-pilot to exit the cockpit and allowed the woman to enter.

The pilot in question is also believed to be the training head of Kingfisher pilots.

Kingfisher has said it will investigate the matter.
