KOCHI: The cultural competitions in connection with the Keralotsavam 2011-12 organised by the Kochi Corporation will be held from November 30 to December 2. The UPAD Hall at Ernakulam North will be the venue for art competitions. The certificates for the winners will be distributed at the valedictory function to be held on December 2 at 3 pm. The inauguration of the sports competitions was held on the Maharaja’s College Ground the other day. Kochi Mayor Tony Chammany inaugurated the event. Kochi Corporation Sports Standing Committee chairman R Thyagarajan presided over the function.
