DU UG CSAS Admission 2024: According to the official schedule, the upgrading window will be open from August 31 to September 1

The Delhi University (DU) has released the timetable for the upcoming rounds of allocations for undergraduate programmes under CSAS (UG) admission 2024–2025. Candidates can view the DU Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS )Round 3 admissions schedule through the official website, admission.uod.ac.in.

According to the schedule, DU will open the window until 4:59 PM on September 1. During this time, applicants who took part in rounds I and II will have the option to upgrade to a higher preference. Candidates can also rearrange their chosen programme and college combinations that rank higher than their assigned one.

DU CSAS Round 3: Upgrading Window

According to the official schedule, the upgrading window will be open from August 31 to September 1. On September 3, the updated allocations will be announced and candidates will have until September 4 to accept their selections. All candidates admitted in rounds 1 and 2 will have the option to upgrade to higher-priority alternatives during the upgrade window. The programme and college combinations that were indicated as higher preferences than the one that is currently assigned to them can also be rearranged by those who choose the “Upgrade” option.

DU CSAS Round 3: Mid Entry Fee

On September 7, the mid-entry open seats will start and candidates can submit their applications till September 9. Through a mid-entry provision, candidates who were unable to finish phase 2 or who missed the deadline to apply for DU CSAS UG 2024 phase 1 can still participate until September 9. They have to pay a non-refundable Rs 1,000 mid-entry charge in order to accomplish this.

–– Online payment of fees by the candidate last date: September 6

–– Display of vacant seats: September 7

–– Apply for mid-entry: September 7 to 9

–– Declaration of third CSAS allocation and sound 2 of performance-based –– programmes, CW, ECA, sports All ward quotа: September 11

–– Candidates to accept the seat allotment: September 11 to 13

–– DU Colleges to verify and approve the online applications submitted: September 11 to 14

–– Last Date of online payment of fees by the candidate: September 15

As per media reports, till August 30, a total of 75,083 admissions had been reported so far. Of these, 29,344 have chosen to move up to higher-preference alternatives, while 41,885 have chosen to freeze the seats that have been allotted to them. The round 2 admissions payment deadline was extended till yesterday, August 30, 11:59 pm.

The DU official notification states that the Third Round allotment will be made using the candidate data that was available as on September 9 at 5 pm. It should be noted that there will be no relation between the Third Round’s cutoffs and ranks and those of the preceding Round or rounds. In this regard, no complaints will be accepted.
