THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Krishnakumar, the RVVHS school teacher who was brutally assaulted by unidentified men in Kollam on September 27, said that he would be able to identify his attackers.However, the teacher recovering at the Medical College Hospital here, told reporters while being taken to the X-ray room from ICU that he could not recollect fully the incidents of the fateful night.A copy of Krishnakumar’s statement made to the First Class Magistrate was handed over to the special investigating team on their request.In his statement, Krishnakumar has alleged that Kerala Congress (B) leader R Balakrishna Pillai and the school management had vengeance against him.However, he reportedly said that he was not sure whether they were behind the attack.Krishnakumar also said that he was attacked when he was travelling in his own car and that he never visited Kadakkal or Nilamel.The investigation team also questioned Balakrishna Pillai, who is undergoing treatment at a private hospital here.The bank transaction of Krishnakumar, his wife Geetha as well as astrologer Sreekumar during the last few days are also being scrutinised by the probe team.Police sources said that the probe has been extended to Tamil Nadu.
