Junior doctors held for blocking KGH gates

VISAKHAPATNAM: Protects rocked the King George Hospital here on Tuesday when Hundreds of junior doctors of Andhra Medical College working at various government hospitals in the city blocked the entry and exist gates of King George Hospital and staged a protect in front of it on Tuesday in protest against the arrest of agitating junior doctors at various places in the state. As the situation was leading to tension, II Town police arrested around 150 junior doctors of AMC for blocking the gates and causing inconvenience to visitors and staff. They were released on execution of personal bond. With junior doctors continuing their boycott of emergency services, professors and assistant professor were struggling to perform surgeries.
