Jayalakshmis car meets with accident

ALAPPUZHA: SC/ST Minister P K Jayalakshimi’s official vehicle met with an accident at Autocast, Mararikulam, near here, on Thursday.The accident occurred at 9 pm on the national highway, when the minister was proceeding to Ernakulam.A Ford Fiesta car hit the rear side of the minster’s car. The minister and her body guard were inside, but none were injured, said Mararikulam SI Haridas. She was shifted to the Cherthala guest-house and later resumed journey in an another vehicle, police said.
