The children also received free samplings to plant in their neighbourhood and photos of them hugging the trees were given to them as mementos to cherish their outing. This event came after a free emission control check held for more that 200 two wheelers at the Ramkay TVS outlets in Adyar, Velachery and Medavakkam, on Saturday as part of their green initiative and commitment to Environment Protection through various measures. They also have an effluent treatment plant which is in operation for many years to treat water used for vehicle water-wash and also to conserve water.
