Hindu Munnani leader in hospital after fall

ERODE: Hindu Munnani state organiser Rama Gopalan (85) was admitted to a private hospital with a head injury, on Wednesday. Rama Gopalan sustained the injury after he reportedly slipped and fell in the bathroom, on Wednesday morning.According to Hindu Munnani district secretary Jagadeesan, Gopalan travelled by the Yercaud Express from Chennai to Erode on Wednesday morning to inaugurate a ‘yagna’ for world peace, organised by the Vanniar Peravai at Bavani.In Erode, he stayed at the house of Munnani state vice-president K Pusappan. When he went to have a bath, he slipped and fell in the restroom, sustaining a head injury.He was rushed to a private hospital and later shifted to the ICU. His condition was stable, Jagadeesan added.
