BANGALORE: A police head constable, who was posted as an orderly at the residence of a senior police official, committed suicide by consuming poison.On Saturday night, Ramachandraiah (51), told his wife that he was reporting for duty. On Sunday morning, he was found lying unconscious on South CAR Grounds. A few passersby took him to Bowring Hospital, but he didn't respond to the treatment and died at the hospital. He is survived by a son and a daughter. Postmortem reports revealed he had consumed poison, though the reason behind suicide is yet to be known.BANGALORE: A house was burgled in C P Lane under Subramanyapura police station limits, when three unidentified men barged into a house and threatened a teenager Kanna and fled with jewellery and Rs 10 lakh, besides car documents. Police suspect the involvement of people who knew the family behind the incident.
