Educational film on economics released

KOCHI: With a view to introduce innovative teaching methods and impart knowledge in a easy way, Department of Economics in Maharaja’s College, Ernakulam, released a short film based on certain fundamental theories in Micro Economics here on Tuesday.“The educational film ‘Saturation’ has the ability to use the language of silence to convey the subtle micro economic theories in simple language,” says Indiavision associate editor Sahadevan, who released the CD at the function held at the college auditorium. He also said that the educational film is an effective medium of communication in the class room.“The film was the product of a long standing vision,” said cartoonist Balu, who was present at the function.Principal Prof M S Viswambaran  presided over the function. Head of the Economics Department Prof K Prasanna made an introductory remarks about the film. Prof S Muraleedharan and Prof Mary Metilda felicitated the function. Director of the film Akhil spoke. Prof Sunil Kumar S Menon welcomed the gathering and Mothi George expressed a vote of thanks.
