On the work front, Kartik Aaryan was last seen in Chandu Champion. Directed by Kabir Khan, the film hit theatres on June 14, 2024. It is based on the life of India’s first Paralympic gold medallist, Murlikant Petkar. It received mixed reviews from all and grossed Rs 74 crore at the Indian box office.
Next, Kartik will be seen in his much-awaited film, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. The film will also star Triptii Dimri in the lead. It will also mark the return of OG Manjulika – Vidya Balan. Madhuri Dixit will also be playing a key role in the film.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will hit theatres on Diwali this year and will clash at the box office with Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again. Recently, Anees Bazmee officially reconfirmed that Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 will not be postponed to avert at box office clash.
“I never planned such a thing in my life, and I don’t feel birthday is a special day. But this birthday will be special because my film will be going out into the world with its message of happiness and laughter. The need of the hour is laughter, and I hope we’ve delivered. Sir, it is a larger-than-life film than the first one with music, songs dance, laughter and joy everywhere. This work has been very, very hard and a very good job has been done. Technically it is a very good film, special effects are going to be something to watch for.” he said as quoted by Bollywood Hungama.
