Agartala: A documentary titled Tagore's ode to Nature directed by Ranabir Ray, will mark the beginning of a non-competitive documentary, short and animation film festival here tomorrow.
The four-day festival will also screen award winning films selected from the Mumbai International Film Festival for Documentary and Short and Animation Films (MIFF).
The festival is being organised by the Films Division in collaboration with the Tripura government and a local film society Cine Delve.
"The festival would showcase some of the finest cinematic works realized in the past eight years throughout the world. Besides Tagore's ode to Nature, spectators will be able to watch several documentaries on Tagore produced by the Films Division," said Sumoy Mukherjee, Films Division officer.
The festival will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Manik Sarkar.
