HYDERABAD: Ministers from Greater Hyderabad, barring home minister Sabita Indra Reddy, might not resign on Monday as they are not very keen on Telangana state. The other three ministers from Greater Hyderabad - Danam Nagender (Labour), G Mukhesh Goud (Marketing) and P Shankar Rao (Handlooms and Textiles), may not quit their membership to the legislative Assembly. There are 20 MLAs in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Limits of whom 10 are Congress legislators and a majority of them are reluctant to put in their papers. Four MLAs - K Srisailam Goud, Bandari Rajireddy, Akula Rajender and Bikshamaiah Yadav - have decided against resigning. From the beginning Danam and Mukhesh Goud were very clear that they would abide by whatever decision the Congress high command takes on state bifurcation issue. The two ministers blame TRS chief K Chandrasekhara Rao for the resignation mania and made it clear that they would not care for the deadlines that either the TRS or the TJAC would set for them. When reporters wanted to know if Nagender would resign, he said he preferred to wait for the party to take a decision. "AICC general secretary Ghulam Nabi Azad had said the party was seized of the issue. They are going about it in a methodical fashion. Then where is the need for hurry?" he asked.
