KOCHI: Companies from Czech Republic are keen on sharing their expertise and forging tie-ups with Kerala-based firms in various fields, said Miloslav Stasek, Czech Ambassador to India.He was speaking at an interactive session organised by the forum for Growth, Development and Progress (GDP) in Kochi, the other day. According to him, Czech Republic was looking for investment avenues in areas such as tourism, education and rubber-based industries, as well.“Czech Republic is known for its expertise in technology and engineering. We are open to tie-ups with engineering and research institutions in Kerala. Our country has high-end know-how in rubber-based industries and Kerala would benefit from it,” he said.He called for investors in Kerala to explore the benefits offered by Czech Republic. “There are several government-backed schemes for financing projects. Entrepreneurs from Kerala can explore the potential of setting up companies or joint ventures in Czech. Our country has high political stability and follows transparent processes,” he said.
