Cure Illness of dam first: Azhikode

THRISSUR: Sukumar Azhikode, who is admitted to a hospital,  has said the illness which has afflicted Mullaperiyar dam should be cured first and  not his personal ailments. He was talking to visitors, including actor Suresh Gopi, IUML president Panakkad Hyderali Shihab Thangal and writer T Padmanabhan. “The Mullaperiyar is an epidemic that will kill millions. Let those who are concerned cure it first,” he said. Azhikode said that instead of leading an isolated life, everyone should involve in social matters. “This is even more relevant  to the leaders of various walks of life,” he added. Doctors said the condition of Azhikode is now stable.
