Competition at Asian Games tough, says archer Deepika Kumari
"All the Asian teams are very strong so the key will be to stay calm, confident and focus on each arrow," said the former World No.1.

Top Indian archer Deepika Kumari said the competition won't be easy at the upcoming Asian Games to be held in Incheon, South Korea, from Sep 19 to Oct 4.

"We are well prepared. We are leaving for South Korea today so that we get acclimatised to the weather conditions there. None of the teams will be easy as everyone is working hard for a medal. All the Asian teams are very strong so the key will be to stay calm, confident and focus on each arrow," said the former World No.1.

"I have regained my form recently. But there are still some areas, like techniques, where I need to improve. I have been working on it with my coach Dharmendra sir and hope to fine tune it on time."

Talking about her form, the 2010 Commonwealth Games gold medallist hopes that her confidence stays with her to perform well.

"When we win a tournament after going through a rough patch, that confidence stays with us for a long time. So I also hope that the confidence supports me at the Asian Games," said Deepika.
