BJP not keen on changing KSE-DVS partnership; RSS upset at BSYs statements..

BANGALOARE: Former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa might be keeping his fingers crossed about his return to power after January 15, but BJP bosses in Delhi have already sealed his fate by deciding to continue with the present combination of D V Sadananda Gowda and K S Eshwarappa till the end of tenure of the present state Assembly.According to sources in the BJP, the party national leadership has decided not to heed to Yeddyurappa’s demands till his name is cleared of all charges and the same would be formally conveyed to him and his  supporters at a meeting expected to be held by this month-end, in which party national president Nitin Gadkari will personally announce the decision.“At present, the party is not for a change in leadership. This has been conveyed to Yeddyurappa in no uncertain words through his emissaries who met the party high command,” said a  senior BJP leader.Meanwhile, RSS leaders — who are upset at Yeddyurappa’s repeated claims that he brought the party to power in Karnataka — are also expected to advise Yeddyurappa to drop his efforts in the larger interests of the party which is preparing for the 2013 general elections on the issue of corruption.“It is like undermining the efforts of lakhs of workers who built this party. Even leaders like Atal Behari Vajpayee and L K Advani have never made such claims despite devoting their entire life for the party,” the RSS leaders are said to have told the state BJP leaders who met them.“RSS leaders will intervene immediately after the January 29 convention to be held at Hubli,” sources said.
