CM condoles Jose Prakashs death

KOCHI: Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said actor Jose Prakash was a person full of love and affection. “I had a very close relation with him and he was a family friend of mine,” Chandy said. Paying his last respects to Jose Prakash at Thottumukam, where the actor’s body has been kept, the Chief Minister said he wished to visit the ailing actor when he was hospitalised. “I was planning to visit him on Saturday. But in the afternoon, I heard the sad news of his passing away,” he said. “The J C Daniel award was to be presented directly to him as a token of respect for his long-standing career. Unfortunately, it did not happen,” he said.
