None should be scared of it but what should be presented as development models should be sustainable and eco-friendly,” he said.“Over exploitation of natural resources cannot be allowed. And the social responsibility of institutions is also important,” he said. Kerala is one of the regions which has the best investment climate now, he said. “Even in developed nations such as the US, Scotland and Australia, conflicts and agitations are quite common. It should be countered with faster and all-inclusive growth,” he said.Speaking on the occasion, Water Resources Minister P J Joseph said that the event had indeed captured the imagination of not only Kerala but the whole country.“It will create a congenial atmosphere for development by ensuring results out of a two-pronged strategy - developing entrepreneurs in the state itself and also attracting potential investors from outside,” he pointed out. Home Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan reiterated that the state was committed to form a special force to protect industries in the state, on the lines of the CISF.“The force will be drafted to protect industries set up in the state,” he said.Maharsahtra Governor K Sankaranarayanan delivered the valedictory address. Industries secretary and MD, KSIDC Alkesh Sharma presented the summary.
