Gujarat based education group Calorx on Wednesday unveiled a Rs 400-crore plan for setting up schools all over the country as it opened its first such institution in Jaipur that will be functional in the upcoming session. Calorx public school, a proposed CBSE school, will be the 36th school of the group.
It has branches in Mumbai besides Gujarat. "We have an investment plan of Rs 400-crore in next 4 years for schools all over the country which will be an eco-friendly campus. "We adopt a multi-sensory teaching so that students get educated by way of experiential learning and innovative teaching methodologies," Manjula Pooja Shroff, Chairperson of the group, said in Jaipur.
The school methodology will be to teach children by maximising their learning abilities as academic achievers, critical thinkers and effective communicators, she said. She said over the next five years, Calorx plans to establish 25 more CBSE-affiliated public schools across the country.
