Bengaluru Airport to Launch 8 New International, Domestic Flights This Week
Air France has upgraded its carrier on the Bengaluru-Paris and Delhi-Paris routes. The airline has introduced modified Airbus featuring improved cabins.

Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) has introduced eight new flights plying on domestic and international routes this week.

Ethiopian Airlines began non-stop flight service from Bengaluru to Addis Ababa in Africa on Monday. On Wednesday, Dutch carrier KLM launched a direct flight service to Amsterdam, which will operate thrice a week.

Ethiopian Airlines inaugural flight landed in Bengaluru airport on Monday at 8 am with 82 passengers. The flight by Dutch carrier KLM, which took off from Schiphol airport on Wednesday at 11:10 am, will touch Bengaluru airport today at 12:37 am, The Times of India reported.

Air France too has upgraded its carrier on the Bengaluru-Paris and Delhi-Paris routes. The airline has introduced modified Airbus featuring improved cabins.

According to the report, Japan Airlines have announced a daily non-stop flight between Narita International Airport in Tokyo and KIA. The flight will begin to operate from March 29. With the new service, Bengaluru will become the second South Indian city after Chennai with a direct flight to Tokyo. Booking for the flight will open from November 6.

Meanwhile, domestic carriers, GoAir and IndiGo have also expanded operations, with GoAir starting a four-time-a-week flight between Bengaluru and Delhi and IndiGo, from October 27, has commenced flights between Bengaluru and Shirdi, Rajahmundry and Belagavi, the report said.

From October 31, IndiGo will start operating between Bengaluru and Tuticorin, the daily said.
