Another victim of Singanamala surfaces

HYDERABAD: Yet another film financier from Proddatur approached the Crime Investigation Department (CID) alleging that Singanamala Ramesh, film producer and a close aide of Bhanu and Maddelacheruvu Suri, cheated him to the tune of Rs 64 lakh.The complainant, Subba Rao, alleged that Ramesh took Rs 64 lakhs from him in August 2009. When Subba Rao demanded Ramesh to return the money, Ramesh allegedly threatened him with the help of Maddelacheruvu Suri’s close associate, Bhanu Kiran. A case was registered against Ramesh under 420, 506 of Indian Penal Code (IPC).
