New Delhi: With battle lines drawn between the government and the civil society over the Lokpal Bill, Team Anna is likely to discuss on Sunday the strategy for the next big Anna Hazare campaign, slated to start on December 27.
Hazare is also likely to unveil details of his upcoming three-day fast on Sunday. This will be Hazare's fourth fast for a strong Lokpal Bill.
Team member Arvind Kejriwal told CNN-IBN that details of Anna's tour of poll-bound states will be worked out depending on the outcome of the extended winter session of Parliament.
"I hope Parliament will pass a good Lokpal Bill. Let's hope for the best. It should not be passed in its current form," Kejriwal said.
Though Anna's health had deteriorated few days before the agitation, he still stands with his decision to sit on a fast for three days.
On the coming assembly polls in five states, he said, "Annaji has already announced that he will tour election bound states. Specifics we will work out when Parliament is over."
When asked whether they will campaign against Congress or BSP, he said, "That we will work out later. Only after the Parliament session is over. Let's hope a good bill is passed. May be we don't need to do that."
However, Congress has alleges that Team Anna campaign is politically motivated.
In yet another move against the government, Team Anna has begun a fierce campaign for generating people's support for Hazare's proposed hunger strike from December 27.
India Against Corruption (IAC) has launched a website, which went live on Thursday. Around 65,000 people have already registered for the campaign and thousands more are expected to join in.
The website allows the people to register themselves for the 'jail bharo' campaign to fight for passage of the Jan Lokpal Bill.
Key Team Anna member Kiran bedi tweeted on micro-blogging site Twitter, "Anna wants to know if you're willing to go to jail. The 74-year-old activist is unleashing a civil disobedience movement and wants people to court arrest to protest against the government for introducing a Lokpal Bill that he finds weak."
Anna Hazare will sit on a three-day fast from December 27 at MMRDA ground in Mumbai, following which he will start his 'Jail Bharo Andolan' from December 30 and continue till January 1.
