New Delhi: The body of 26-year-old Satyam employee, Akshay Vishal, reached his home in Hyderabad on Tuesday.
Akshay was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Little Rock in the US a week ago.
This is the seventh case of young students and professionals from Hyderabad being killed in the last 14 months.
Akshay’s death has left his family shocked.
On Friday a 20-year-old man “strongly suspected” to have killed Akshay was arrested by the police in the Arkansas state in the US.
Name and other details of the arrested suspected assailant were not released by the police. However, the local media identified the arrested person as 20-year-old Brandon Johnson.
The Little Rock Police is interrogating the suspects.
Robbery is believed to be the prime motive behind the murder, investigations so far have revealed, the police said.
