All-India painting competition

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Vijay Informations Fine Art Academy based at Hyderabad is conducting an all-India painting competition for school children. The competition, which requires the participants to send their paintings by post to Hyderabad, will be conducted in three categories - sub-juniors (standard 1 to standard 5), juniors (standard 6 to standard 8) and seniors (standard 9 to standard 12). Each participant can send up to five paintings for competition.The entry fee for the contest is ` 100 per participant. Entry fee should be paid by bank demand draft in favour of Prof K Sunder Kumar, payable at Hyderabad. The competition is through schools and drawing and painting institutes only. Participants can choose their own topic and medium in water colour, crayons or poster colours. The size of the painting is 10 inches X 15 inches on drawing sheet. The entries should be sent by registered post or courier to K Sunder Kumar, secretary, Vijay Informations Fine Art Academy, H.No.21-106/5, Syndicate Bank Colony, Sharadanagar, P and T Colony PO, Hyderabad -500 060 on or before January 31.
