Aircraft maintenance workshop at CIAL

KOCHI: The Cochin International Airport Limited would inaugurate the Aircraft Maintenance Workshop, built at the cost of Rs 42 crore, on February 11. The decision was taken at the director board meeting chaired by Chief Minister Oommen Chandy.The Board also decided to hold a meeting with HUDCO early next month to settle the outstanding issues regarding the loan taken by CIAL from it. CIAL would also take up the consultancy of the Kannur airport and airstrip construction at the Bakel Resorts.  The Board Meeting was attended by Finance Minister K M Mani, Industries Minister P K Kunhalikutty, Ports Minister K Babu, directors M A Yousufali, C V Jacob, E M Babu, P Mohammedali, E Nandakumar, N V George, managing director V J Kurien, finance secretary V P Joy and  principal secretary to the CM, Dinesh Sharma.
