BANGALORE: Despite the state government initiating several measures in the previous fiscal, agriculture and allied sectors have experienced a slowdown of 2.9 per cent, states the Karnataka economic survey report which was released here on the eve of presentation of the state budget for 2012-13. The growth rate of industries too is estimated to have declined to 3.6 per cent during 2011-12.The services sector has grown from 9.1 per cent in 2010-11 to 10.6 per cent in 2011-12, which has been a growth driver in the current year’s GSDP (gross state domestic product).
