A victory for AINRC

PUDUCHERRY: The winning candidate from the All India Namathu Rajyam Congress (AINRC), Tamil Selvan, credited his victory to the party chief N Rangasamy and the government.Tamil Selvan, who came out after collecting the winning certificate from the Returning Officer G Malar Kannan, on Thursday, told the waiting reporters and media personel, “It’s a victory for the chief minister and a victory for the government.”The AINRC winner, who was still sporting the flower petals on his head, did not say anything further and moved on to join the victory celebrations with waiting cadre about 200 yards away from the counting centre.Earlier, Selvan met Rangasamy at his residence once the results were declared.
