New Delhi: Mild tremors were felt in parts of North India including New Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh on Monday at 11:57 am.
The epicentre of the earthquake measuring 4.6 on the richter scale, was Chamoli region.
The quake lasted for a few seconds, officials said.
However, there were no initial reports of any loss of life or property, they said.
