CHENNAI: S Mobility, the mobile Internet company, launched what it claims to be the country’s first 3G and 2G dual sim android phone in the city on Wednesday. Mi 350 smart phone is powered by the Android 2.3 Gingerbread and boasts of a powerful battery backup that can last up to seven days.Mi-350 has a 650 MHz Turbo Processor based on the MTK platform and promises innovative framework, faster response and deeper integration- all at a price of `9,999 only.At present, the company, which entered the Tamil Nadu market this year, has partnered with seven organised retail chains and is making efforts to reach the number three spot in a year’s time.“Mobile Internet is a revolutionary phenomenon that will help bridge the digital divide. We see Chennai and Tamilnadu is a critical market for our products,” said TM Ramakrishnan, Associate Vice President, Operations, Chennai Cluster, S Mobility Limited.
