MADURAI: Three persons drowned in separate incidents in Madurai, Palani and Sayalkudi. Jesuraj (35), an auto driver of Thathaneri, drowned when he got off his vehicle and watched the Vaigai in spate from the Arappalayam causeway on Tuesday.Fire service personnel could not find the body on Tuesday evening. The search continued on Wednesday also.Mohamed Basir Khan (34) of South Naripaiyur drowned in the sea near Sayalkudi in Ramnad on Wednesday. Mohamed had gone to bale out the stagnated water in his country boat anchored off shore at Mookkaiyur. Ashokumar (34) of Kavundankulam near Palani slipped into Shanmuganadhi on Monday and drowned. He along with friends had gone to Periyavudayar temple.
