Sonam Devi (25) caught fire while cooking food in Turantpur village late on Thursday evening, Station Officer (SO) Anjani Kumar Mishra said.
In a bid to save Sonam, her husband Pradeep Seth and his father Mehilal also sustained burn injuries, he said.
The trio was referred to Varanasi where Sonam, who sustained 90 per cent burn injuries, succumbed during treatment, the SO added.
