- Dreepy evolves into Drakloak at level 50, and Dragapult at level 60.
- Dreepy and its evolutions require more EXP to level up, so leveling them will take longer than other Pokemon.
- Dreepy can only be found in Pokemon Violet; if you want one and have Pokemon Scarlet, you'll need to trade or Tera Raid Battle against one.
Where to Find Dreepy
Dreepy is only available in the wild in Pokemon Violet. In Pokemon Violet, you can find Dreepy at the following locations: South Province: Area One, Area Four, Area Five, Area Six East Province: Area Two, Area Three West Province: Area Two, Area Three North Province: Glaseado Mountain
You must trade or do a Tera Raid Battle to get a Dreepy in Pokemon Scarlet. You can either trade with a friend who has Pokemon Violet, or you can use the Tera Raid Battle search function to find a 3-star Tera Raid Battle hosted by a Pokemon Violet player.
Dreepy can be found in both Sword and Shield. Dreepy is found in Lake of Outrage, Axew's Eye, and Rolling Fields in the Wild Area. If you have the expansion pass, you can also find Dreepy in Slippery Slope, Old Cemetery, Giant's Foot, Frigid Sea, and Ballimere Lake.
Evolving Dreepy
Level up Dreepy to level 50. You can use Rare Candies, EXP Candies, or battle experience to level up your Dreepy. Once your Dreepy reaches level 50, it will evolve into a Drakloak. If you choose to use battle experience, note that Dreepy (and its evolutions) are part of the slow evolution group, which means they take the longest to evolve as they need more experience points to level up. The reason for this is that Dreepy's final evolution Dragapult is known as a "pseudo-legendary" Pokemon. Pseudo-legendary Pokemon are more powerful than most other non-legendary Pokemon due to having naturally high base stats, which in turn makes them harder to raise.
Level your Drakloak to level 60. You can use Rare Candies, EXP Candies, or battle experience to level up your Drakloak. Once your Drakloak hits level 60, it will evolve into a Dragapult. If you don't feel like leveling up a Dreepy, you can catch Drakloak (in Pokemon Violet only) in North Province Area One, Area Two, Area Three, Casseroya Lake, and Glaseado Mountain, as well as in 4-star Tera Raid Battles. Dragapult cannot be found normally in the wild, but does appear in 5- and 6-star Tera Raid Battles. In Sword and Shield, you can catch a Drakloak and Dragapult in Axew's Eye and Rolling Fields Max Raid Battles. You can also find them in the Old Cemetery in the Expansion Pass.
