- Currently, Instagram does not have a feature that lets users see who viewed their profile.
- Beware of any third-party apps that claim to do so. This can lock you out of your account or permanently ban it.
- If you have a professional account, you can see the number of "profile hits" rather than individual users.
Can you see who viewed your profile on Instagram?
No—you can't see exactly which users viewed your profile. If you're concerned about someone knowing how often you've checked their profile, don't worry. Instagram has not released a feature that lets users know which specific users are snooping (yet). If you're curious about who's looking at your profile, you can upgrade to a professional account to see the number of profile visits. This is only the number of hits your profile has, not individual users. There may be third-party apps that claim you can see who viewed your profile. However, these apps may lock you out of your account or get your account permanently banned. Be wary of any third-party apps that involve entering your login information. While users can’t see who looked at their profile, they can still see who viewed their Stories.
Checking Your Profile Hits
Open the Instagram app. This looks like a camera icon with a multicolored background. Use this method if you have a professional account and want to check your profile's hits. This won't work for regular accounts.
Tap your profile picture. You can find this in the bottom-right corner. On some devices, this may look like a person icon.
Tap ☰. This will be at the top-right corner. A pop-up menu will open.
Tap Insights. If you don't see this section, you don't have a professional account. You'll need to upgrade first.
View your profile hits. You'll see a page of metrics under the Overview section along with any posted content you have. You can find your profile hits below Interactions.
