Businessman Elon Musk has made a shocking claimed about his relationship with Hollywood actress Amber Heard. For the unversed, Elon and Amber sparked dating rumours in July 2016 and officially started dating in April 2017. They broke up in 2018. While Amber remained tight-lipped about their relationship, Elon revealed jaw-dropping details about the relationship in his biography. The Tesla CEO and SpaceX founder’s biography claimed that their relationship was ‘toxic’.
As reported by E! News, the book revealed that Elon and Amber met in 2013 but it wasn’t until after she filed for a divorce from Johnny Depp that they got into a relationship. It is also said that Elon visited the sets of Aquaman to spend time with her.
Elon’s biography told the author of his biography, Walter Isaacson, that his relationship with Amber was ‘brutal.’ As reported by Vanity Fair, Elon’s brother Kimbal Musk called described the relationship ‘toxic’ and ‘nightmare’. He added that Elon falls for people who are “beautiful, no question, but they have a very dark side.” Reacting to his brother’s statement, Elon said in his biography, “Because I’m just a fool for love.” He added, “I am often a fool, but especially for love.”
Elon said his relationship was “18 months of unrelenting insanity” which was “mind-bogglingly painful.” Despite their alleged rough relationship, Amber said that she loves Elon. “I love him very much,” Amber said in the book. “Elon loves fire, and sometimes it burns him,” she added.
Last year, Elon Musk also extended his support to Amber Heard during the defaming case she was fighting against Johnny Depp. Taking to Twitter, now X, Elon wrote, “I hope they both move on.” He went on to add, “At their best, they are each incredible.”
Besides talking about his relationship with Amber, Elon also spoke about his family, his kids with former partner, singer Grimes.
