England: Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini is hoping Sergio Aguero will be out for only two weeks after the striker injured his hamstring against Barcelona in the Champions League on Wednesday.

Aguero was substituted at halftime during the 2-1 loss at the Nou Camp and the Argentina forward underwent a scan in Manchester on Thursday.

A two-week absence would rule Aguero out of the derby match against Manchester United on March 25.

"Sergio will know on Saturday what he has," Pellegrini said on Friday. "I really don't know, but I don't think it is really very serious. I am hopeful he will (only) be injured for a couple of weeks."

The 25-year-old Aguero missed five games with a hamstring injury in February. He has 26 goals in 28 matches this season.
