ISL: FC Goa can still qualify for the finals, says confident Zico
Zico said his team might have lost the first leg but their fate hangs in balance and they have a very good chance of making it to the finals of the ISL.

Indian striker Robin Singh's first-half goal was enough to power Delhi Dynamos to a 1-0 win over Goa in the first leg of their first semifinal as Roberto Carlos' men now hold the advantage in the battle for a place in the final of the Indian Super League season 2.

FC Goa manager Zico in the post match conference said his team might have lost the first leg but their fate hangs in balance and they have a very good chance of making it to the finals of the ISL.

"I don't foresee it as a loss. It is a contest of 180 minutes. We have still 90 minutes more to play," Zico said at the post-match press conference.

However, the Brazilian legend admitted that Delhi will enjoy upper hand thanks to the 1-0 win today.

"They have the advantage of playing for a draw now. But we will play to win nevertheless. It will be our home and we have done that in past and we do that in future as well. We can see this that we have played half of a game as of now and we are still in with a shout," Zico added.

The 62-year old also blamed that the loss to the missed scoring opportunities and said it wasn't because of the tactics.

"I don't think my tactics were wrong. We were looking to have them on counter but unfortunately we lost. It was not about the tactics but it was about missed chances and we will try to revert to those mistakes and ensure we don't repeat them at home in the second leg."

"Our team played well. Delhi had majority of opportunities but we have opportunities as well. We will go to Goa confident and we will try to reverse the situation," Zico added.
