Liverpool: The FA has announced that the disciplinary hearing into Liverpool striker Luis Suarez's alleged racial abuse of Manchester United's Patrice Evra is under way.
The 24-year-old Uruguayan has been charged by the FA for racially abusing the French defender during the 1-1 draw between the two teams at Anfield in October.
The Reds forward has strongly denied these claims however, and has received the full support of his club and manager Kenny Dalglish.
Suarez sparked further controversy last week following an alleged hand gesture towards Fulham fans during Liverpool's 1-0 loss at Craven Cottage, and was charged a second time by the FA for improper conduct
The former Ajax man has been given an unspecified extension in which to respond to the alleged charges, whilst the current hearing surrounding the racial allegations takes place.
The hearing is set to last up to two days, with an outcome expected by the end of the week, with both players due to give evidence.
