Ram Charan 'Hasn't Changed' After RRR, Says Kanika Kapoor, Calls Klin Kara 'Cutest Baby' | Exclusive

One look at her social media and you will see that Kanika Kapoor shares a rather close friendship with the Konidelas. She is often seen posting pictures with Ram Charan and Upsana Kanineni Konidela from their getaways. While the couple flew down to London in March last year to attend Kanika’s wedding, the singer was a guest at their intimate baby shower that took place earlier this year. Needless to say, Kanika was overjoyed when Ram and Upasana welcomed their baby girl Klin Kaara Konidela in June.

Last month, baby Klin’s first picture from a family vacation in Tuscany went viral. The parents have left no stone unturned to keep their daughter’s face concealed from the public and media glare but Kanika, in an exclusive chat with News18 Showsha sometime back, revealed that the baby has the ‘cutest’ face. She told us, “Upasana and Charan are very old friends of mine. I’ve known Charan even before he started his career. I’ve seen him evolve and he’s brilliant. He has now become the father of the cutest little baby. I saw her a while ago.”

Kanika also shared that their friendship and Ram’s demeanour remain unchanged even after his film RRR (2022) made waves globally and received a recognition at the Oscars. “He hasn’t changed one bit even after that. I’ve to say one thing about south Indian actors and their families. They’re so down to earth and family-oriented. They’re so grounded. I’ve huge respect for them,” she said.

And with so many actor friends around her, does she ever plan on foraying into acting? “I have received acting offers but I haven’t given myself that push to get out there. How much can I do? I’m a mother, I’m a sister, I’m a wife, I’m a daughter-in-law, I’m a full time artist and I’ve parents. I live between three countries and so, take up another role isn’t easy,” stated the Baby Doll and Chittiyaan Kalaiyaan singer.

However, she quickly added that isn’t completely against the idea of facing the camera as an actor and she would like to do it for the love and not for money. When prodded, Kanika said, “For me, less is more. I think you should do only those things that make you comfortable and happy and not because you want to run after fame, power and money. When acting has to be a part of my life, it will. I’m definitely open to the idea of it. I’m sure I can act (laughs). I’ll leave it to managers.”
