The State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET) will conclude the online registration process for the Telangana State Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (TS POLYCET) 2024 without a late fee tomorrow, April 28. Candidates can apply for the TS POLYCET 2024 by visiting the main site of SBTET at polycet.sbtet.telangana.gov.in.
The Telangana State Polytechnic Common Entrance Test is being held for students seeking admission to diploma programmes offered at participating universities.
Candidates are advised to register on the official website before the deadline. Furthermore, they have until April 30 to apply for the TS POLYCET 2024 with a late fee of Rs 100. Additionally, applicants can also register until May 20 for a tatkal fee of Rs 300.
TS POLYCET 2024: Eligibility Criteria
– Candidates must be from Telangana or Andhra Pradesh.
– The candidate must have passed all subjects with a minimum of 35 per cent marks, including biology, physics, and chemistry, from a recognised board such as the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS), Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Telangana Open School Society (TOSS), Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE), or other examinations recognised as equivalent to the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) by Telangana state.
– For the TS POLYCET exam, candidates do not have any age registrations.
TS POLYCET 2024: Steps To Register
Step 1: Go to the official website at polycet.sbtet.telangana.gov.in.
Step 2: Search and click on the ‘Registration’ link from the dropdown displayed on the homepage.
Step 3: First complete the registration process to obtain the login credentials.
Step 4: After logging in, proceed to fill out the application form as directed.
Step 5: Upload all the required documents and make the payment of the application fee.
Step 6: Crosscheck all the details and submit the form.
TS POLYCET 2024: Application Fee
Candidates from the general category need to pay Rs 500 as a registration fee. While SC and ST candidates have to pay Rs 250 for the same.
The TS POLYCET 2024, which was originally planned to take place on May 17, has been rescheduled to May 24 due to the Lok Sabha election this year. As per reports, the SBTET declared that the TS POLYCET results 2024 will be released 12 days after the exam concludes.
TS POLYCET 2024: Exam Pattern
The exam will last two hours and 30 minutes and will consist of only one paper in the subjects of mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology, as mandated by the Board of Secondary Education, Telangana.
The exam will take place from 11 am to 1:30 pm. The test will be conducted for a total of 150 marks which includes mathematics (60 marks) + biology (30 marks) + chemistry (30 marks) and physics (30 marks).
