Many recruitments take place under the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) every year. Competitive exams are conducted for these too. This year, for the SSC Recruitment 2024, the commission has cancelled the recruitment of some posts in Selection Post Recruitment Phases 10 and 12. According to reports, this recruitment was to be done for Upper Divisional Clerk/SSub Officer Cadre under the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has posted information regarding cancelled positions on its website (SSC Vacancy 2024). Candidates looking for government positions via SSC Recruitment Exam 2024 can view the information of the cancelled opportunities on the SSC’s official website, ssc.gov.in. SSC has also decided to cancel 3 vacancies of Field Officer (Code NR13524) in the Directorate of Health Services for the time being.
SSC Recruitment Cancelled: What is the reason behind this?
SSC has also cancelled the recruitment for two posts of Nursing Officer (Code-NR18722) under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in Selection Post 2022 (Phase 10) (SSC Jobs 2024). SSC has also released its notification on its website. The reason for cancellation of recruitment has also been given in the SSC notice. As per the notice, the post has been cancelled due to administrative reasons.
SSC Vacancy 2024:
This recruitment exam for SSC was conducted on June 20, 21, 25, and 26. A total of 3,55,541 candidates from UP and Bihar had filled out the form in this. Among them there were 1,64,705 10th pass, 90,200 12th pass, and 1,00,636 graduate candidates from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.
However, 12th pass candidates can apply for recruitment to 2006 posts of SSC Stenographer Grade C and D.
SSC Steno Recruitment 2024: Who can apply for SSC Steno Recruitment?
As per reports, one can apply for SSC Steno Recruitment in online mode till August 17. Its first phase computer-based examination is proposed in October–November 2024. Through this recruitment drive, government jobs will be available for the post of stenographer in various ministries, departments, and institutions of the central government.
To apply, the individual should be between the ages of 18 and 30 as of August 1, 2024. Apart from this, one should have passed 12th from any recognised board/institution.
