Odisha 12th Results 2024: The science stream recorded the highest pass percentage with 86.93 per cent followed by commerce with 82.27 per cent, and the arts stream with 80.95 per cent

The Odisha Board has announced the Class 12 or HS results 2024 today, March 26. The scorecards can now be checked on the official websites at chseodisha.nic.in, orissaresults.nic.in and indiaresults.com. A total of 3,84,597 students appeared for the Odisha board class 12 exams this year. To pass the CHSE +2 exams, candidates must receive a minimum score of 33 per cent. Those who fail to achieve the minimum marks will be allowed to appear for supplementary exams.

The science stream recorded the highest pass percentage with 86.93 per cent followed by commerce with 82.27 per cent, and the arts stream with 80.95 per cent. The overall pass percentage across all three streams has seen a slight increase when compared to last year. In 2023, the overall pass percentage was around 81.12 per cent for commerce, 84.93 per cent for science, and 78.88 per cent for arts.

Odisha 12th Results 2024: Girls Outshine Boys Across All Streams

Girls have outperformed boys yet again. The pass percentage among girls in the science stream is 87.74 per cent while among it is 86.21 per cent. In the case of the commerce stream, the girls’ pass percentage is 85.55 per cent, and boys’ pass percentage is 80.40 per cent. Meanwhile, 87.56 per cent of girls and 72.68 per cent of boys have passed the exam in the arts stream

In 2023, the science stream examination was passed by 78,938 students. While boys had a pass percentage of 84.28 per cent, girls had a slightly better pass percentage of 85.67 per cent. Girls cleared the Odisha Class 12 commerce examinations with an 83.87 per cent passing rate, while boys passed with a 79.52 per cent passing rate. The commerce stream examinations were taken by 24,082 students. The Odisha Board results for the Class 12 Arts Streams revealed that girls performed significantly better than boys. The girls’ pass percentage in the Arts stream was 85.63 per cent. The boys’ pass percentage was 70.43 per cent.
