CAT 2024 Registration Ends Today At iimcat.ac.in, Direct Link To Apply Here

The Indian Institute of Management, (IIM) Calcutta will conclude the registration for Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024. IIM had extended the deadline for the CAT 2024 application process till September 20. Candidates who have not applied yet can do so by visiting the official website- iimcat.ac.in till 5 pm today.

IIM CAT 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates with a bachelor’s degree and at least 50 per cent of the possible points or an equivalent CGPA are eligible to apply for CAT 2024. The minimum score needed for candidates in the SC, ST, and PwD categories is 45 per cent. Candidates may apply provisionally for the exam if they are sitting in their last year of study or if they have previously taken the degree examination but the results have not been made public.

Step 1: Visit the official IIM Calcutta. website – iimcat.ac.in

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link that reads as “New Candidate Registration”

Step 3: Register using your phone number and email address on the login page.

Step 4: After completing the registration, use the password and registration number generated to log in.

Step 5: Complete the CAT 2024 application and submit the required payment.

Step 6: Download the CAT 2024 application form for future use and submit the application fee.

IIM CAT 2024: Exam Pattern

The CAT 2024 test paper will consist of three sections: Quantitative Ability (QA/Quants), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC). Candidates will have 120 minutes to complete the test, with 40 minutes allocated to each portion of the exam. There will be no section switching permitted during the exam process. This year, the exam will be held in three sessions in 170 cities across nations. The exam for the first shift will be conducted from 8.30 AM to 10.30 AM, from 12.30 PM to 2.30 PM for the second shift and from 4.30 PM to 6.30 PM for the third shift. The admit card is scheduled to be distributed on November 5. The results are expected to be out in the second week of January 2025.
