KKR's all-rounder, Andre Russell has defended the head coach Chandrakant Pandit after claims of him being a 'disciplinarian' surfaced.

After the Namibian international, David Wiese who had represented the Kolkata Knight Riders in the previous edition of the Indian Premier League revealed that some of the overseas players did not like current head coach Chandrakant Pandit’s style of coaching, Andre Russell has backed his coach and believes that it took the side some time to adjust to their new coach’s style.

Speaking at a press conference, the West Indies all-rounder shared a difference of opinions where he believes that there is no room for complaints and highlighted the need to maintain professionalism.

He said,” We’ve been working with him since last year. I think when you’re working with a coach for the first time, you have to make sure that you adjust to their philosophy. There have to be rules. We are professionals. So, we don’t complain”.
